Partners in Caring

Along with distributing the bags on our own, we also provide support to several different organizations in Coastal Georgia. These agencies and organizations distribute our bags to those who need them most.

The Chatham/Savannah Authority for the Homeless are on the front lines every day helping our community members who are experiencing homelessness. We support them with Happy Bags to distribute as well as supplying them with other items from our Amazon wishlist such as: flash lights, tents, batteries and other personal items.
Our Happy Bags are packed by the amazing students and teachers at The Matthew Reardon Center for Autism. The students enjoy learning skills such as inventory, communication, taking direction from others and assembly. These are skills that they will be able to use throughout life and at jobs they may have in the future. To learn more about the school, please visit their website.
Union Mission provides emergency shelter, mental health counseling, HIV/AIDS supportive services and permanent supportive housing to men, women and children experiencing homelessness. We support them by collecting children’s blankets to donate to the mission. When children arrive at the shelter, they will be able to choose a blanket to have as a comfort and to keep as their own for forever. We also collect towels, washcloths and body wash for the mission. In addition to collecting these items for them, we give them Happy Bags to distribute to the homeless in Savannah, GA.
